Conscious Sedation Dentistry

Sedation Dentistry provides a dental experience like no other. Hours seem like minutes and recovery is a dream.

Medications used in sedation protocols aid in creating a relaxing and calm experience and help you remember little of the visit, preventing the sounds and smells from lingering in your thoughts.

Dr. Goff is certified by the
Dental Organization for
Conscious Sedation (DOCS)

Dr. Goff will give you a prescription for a sedative to take the night before your first appointment to guarantee a good night's sleep and to make sure you wake up relaxed. You will need a friend to drive you to and from your appointment.

After you get comfortably settled Dr. Goff will give you more medication placed under the tongue which is absorbed quickly into the bloodstream. Soon you will be snoozing peacefully but you will be rousable at any time. Hours will seem like minutes, before you know it your appointment will be over and you will have little recollection of your visit.

Sedation medications are very safe and effective and have been used for decades and are among the least likely drugs to cause an adverse reaction.
